Jurgen Appelo, autor de esta pr\u00e1ctica, nos presenta dos&nbsp;<strong>tipos de motivaci\u00f3n: extr\u00ednseca<\/strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>intr\u00ednseca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se entiende como&nbsp;<strong>motivaci\u00f3n extr\u00ednseca, aquella con elementos motivadores externos al ser<\/strong>. Ejemplo de esto tenemos aumentos de salario, ascensos, bonos, d\u00edas compensatorios de descanso, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El problema con estos motivadores extr\u00ednsecos es que cuando se esperan y no se reciben, se interpreta como una injusticia, lo que conduce a un efecto contrario al deseado cuando se implanta como m\u00e9todo de motivaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dar una motivaci\u00f3n extr\u00ednseca, por ejemplo, entregando bonos por buenos resultados a personas cuyo trabajo consiste en un proceso creativo (ingenier\u00eda, mercadeo, dise\u00f1o, entre otras profesiones),&nbsp;<strong>condiciona el rendimiento<\/strong>. Esto tiende a desarrollar comportamientos de guardar o racionar la producci\u00f3n, para a fin de mes entregar ese adicional que conlleve a la recompensa o remuneraci\u00f3n extra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto no significa que no se deban pagar salarios o promover de cargo a las personas porque se van a desmotivar. Como seres humanos, tenemos unas necesidades b\u00e1sicas que debemos satisfacer, y a pesar de que los motivadores econ\u00f3micos son motivadores extr\u00ednsecos, ayudan a satisfacer dichas necesidades. Existe un m\u00ednimo en la aspiraci\u00f3n salarial que cada persona necesita para cubrir sus necesidades. No pagar a sus empleados de forma justa o a tiempo, garantiza empleados desmotivados, pero una vez este acuerdo b\u00e1sico sea cumplido,&nbsp;<strong>los trabajadores de hoy se motivan mas por motivadores intr\u00ednsecos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos&nbsp;<strong>motivadores intr\u00ednsecos funcionan a nivel personal<\/strong>. Consiste en hacer las cosas, no por esperar algo a cambio sino porque les gusta y apasiona.
